Parts Reviews These are some good tips to creating a powerful truck. Engine: Keep it stock, lower the gaers in the rear end for bigger tires. Cooling and Heating: Maybe a new fan or relocating the rad to the bed if you like to play in the mud. Suspension: Rancho RS5000 shocks are a good idea there nice and fairly cheap. Double shock hops might be good for small blocks. No lift kits a good stock Toyota is worth more than a lifted one. Brakes: The brakes usually work fine, get the drums and rotors turned, and replace the lines and pads. Tip:If you get cheap pads the pads wear, expensive one's wear the rotors and drums down. Interior features : Water proof seat covers External features: Full roll cages are bullky but look cool.Mud flaps and fender flairs keep the mud from flying every where. Wheels: I like a baja/mud tire you can be fairly cheap and get good tires. WARNING: If you put tires over 33 inches on a completly stock drive train you can blow engines, diffs, and tranies.
